The ‘Wild West’ of the Berg. Southern Berg was once a haven for horse thieves who hid in what others considered a ‘no man’s land’. Indeed, the mountains here look wilder and more untamed than those further north. If you want to venture into Lesotho, head up the Sani Pass or do it the Basotho way on horseback.
