And i'm pleased that I did. I had read review on other sites about people who are more price conscious. But really what you get for your dollar is really worth it.
I felt very safe and it was an easy trip. They think of everything and the drivers are very helpful.
But I did a bit of research online as my obsessive nature dictates I should and found that the general consensus was to do it.
I took my time and asked the drivers loads of questions. It was easy to book as I went along their route and had no hiccups along the way. South Africa truly is a beautiful country and I think there would have loads of out of the way places that are so worthwhile seeing, that i would not have made it to if i hadn't used the Baz Bus.
So no regrets from me.
Baz Bus is very convenient and the best part was I met loads of interesting people.
Definitely going back to South Africa again one day and doing it again!
I recently went to South Africa on an unplanned vacation and thought i would just take my time and wander around and see what I would find.
I arrived in Johannesburg and decided I wanted to get up to Kruger asap. I heard about Baz Bus at the airport and decided to do their Flexi Tour2 via Swaziland to Cape Town.
I loved Kruger and even got to see my favorite animals, Elephants!
South Africa is so beautiful. I really enjoyed my journey. The drivers were a hoot and quite helpful. But sometimes the distances are a bit long and can be uncomfortable. So I broke my trip up into smaller "Hops" and spent less time on the buses.
I enjoyed meeting other travellers from all over the planet, and made a couple nice friends too.
I had a great time and would definitely recommend it, but i suggest that you plan for a bit more time if you want to see the whole country. There's so much to do and see.
