Hi Everyone, Well emotions are running high in the sport of surfing, Kelly Slater wins his 10x World Title, Stephanie Gilmore get her 4th and ANDY IRONS passes away.

Gromz Go Crazy 9: Its been two years since I started the Gromz Go Crazy Series and already we at number 9, double digits after this episode. Its really great to see the improvments in the kids over the past few month and years. Number 9 is great little video showing off some of South Africa's best 9-13 year old surfers.
There are also some great new pictures of S.A junior champs, new waves developments, waves, camps and rippers.
Summer Holiday Surf Camps: Do you know what your kids will be up to this summer holiday? Our 5-day summer surf camps are the ideal healthy way to help keep the kids busy this summer holiday knowing that they are in a safe, supervised environment, while improving their surfing. Zigzag surfing will also be covering the five day camp and it will be promoted on their website through video footage and photos.
October Surf Camps: October was a busy month for surf camps; I had three, one in Cape Town, one in Mossel Bay and the third in Still Bay. All three camps were totally blessed with great waves, the groups were small and a different approach was used to coach the kids.
Launch of Do Great Things Trust and fund raising events announced The Do Great Things Trust, an NPO founded by Cape Town based businessman, world renowned big-wave rider and Mavericks contest winner, Chris Bertish, has the philosophy that it is the little gestures in life that mean the most to people and every little gesture, every kind act, no matter how small, helps in making a positive difference to someone’s life.
ISA Level 1 coaching course SSA has successfully run ISA Level One + Two coaching courses around the country in June and July thanks to funding from the LOTTO and ISA presenter Peter Cook making his way from France for a month.
Skate Park and Climbing wall at the Point. Plans are under way to build a 15m high climbing wall, a half pipe and an upgraded, new and improved putt-putt course. This has been a long time coming; it will be a huge addition to what to see and do at the Point.
A new New Pier? Mossel Bay has suffered from a serious drought for the past year or more and with Holiday season just around the corner there will be some major strain on our depleted water resources.
Yours in surfing
