Amapondo Backpackers Affiliations

Amapondo is nestled in the forest on top of a hill overlooking a meandering river and a beautiful swimming beach. This is beach living - lie in a hammock and listen to the crashing waves.

Our dorms, doubles, family rooms, camping and new self-catering cottages all have sea views.

Join our guides on a hike to one of Port St John’s many attractions. Later, we drive out to the top of Mount Thesiger for sundowners at the airstrip.
