Located 5 minutes from the centre of town. A loungable, colourful place where you can relax after being exhausted from your travels, activities and all the impressions. In a relaxed atmosphere we can offer you a nice bed, some good food and a couple of drinks. Ideal to reload for another thriving day of great experiences! Our adventure centre can give you lots of info about this great area.

We have bunk beds, double rooms, en suite rooms, self-catering chalets and space for tents. Graskop Adventures offers you some exciting tubing, kloofing, a bridge swing and caving. Rent a mountain bike so you can find your own way through Graskop, the forest and the panoramic route.

When you come to Valley View backpackers please feel free to use the kitchen or the braai (BBQ) as your own. Although food is not included in the price to stay overnight, we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just let us know in advance so we can make you some good food.

Directions to Valley View Backpackers

The quickest, nicest and cheapest way to Graskop is if you come from the direction of Johannesburg is, take the N4 to Witbank, Middelburg. After Middelburg you will get the exit to Belfast. Take this one (you will skip the Machado Toll gate) and go to Dullstroom, after that Lydenburg and then to Sabie through the Long tom Pass. In Sabie follow the signs to Graskop.

If you come from Sabie/Pilgrims Rest (R533), just before you enter the town you will get a 4 way stop street. Take a right. All the way over the hill until the end, take a left. It’s the white house on the next corner.
