Seeking to slow down and enjoy some inspiring natural beauty on your travels? Then the Rocky Road experience is for you! Nestled in The Crags, our five hectares of garden and forest is surrounded by mountains, a stone’s throw from spectacular Natures Valley on the coast. Rocky Road is for those who enjoy the simplicity of easy yet comfortable living... and is the perfect base from which to enjoy the many activities on offer nearby.

Our accommodation includes dorms, doubles and luxury tents on covered timber decks, feature bathrooms plus a plunge-pool that becomes our friday evening hot tub. Join us for a braai, or an ice-breaking petanque challenge, walk, hike, have fun, relax... and also consider supporting our local community development projects.

Rocky Road is top notch!

Rocky Road is excellent. Great people, great accomodation (tents are incredible!) and amazing surroundings! Rocky is extremely accomodating, going out of his way to ensure we had a good, hassle free time, even taking one of our group members to hospital after dislocating his shoulder on the Otter. Mack is a weatlh of information regarding the surrounding area, a great person to listen to and Mark is a loony cook keeping things fun! Highly recommend Rocky Road to any adventurous travellers!
