The village itself is so perfectly situated for all soft and hard adventure fanatics- river tubing, forest zip-lines, nature trails, horse riding, bungy jumping (highest bridge jump in the world-eek!), forest canopy tours, restaurants…….. etc etc etc- Phew! SO much to choose from and Dijembe is on the doorstep of it all.
I have had the good fortune to stay at many backpackers around South Africa and abroad. With all the makings of an excellent backpackers Dijembe is a not-to-be-missed stop for all travelers. It is a destination/attraction on its own, not just an accommodation.
Only complaint is that I wanted to stay longer! Thanks Brad, Cobus, Gerard and all the Dijembe team!
