The Blue Sky Mining Backpackers & Lodge Affiliations

Not only are we a stone’s throw away from the beach, we also have stunning sea views. Surf well-known spots using our free surfboards.

We arrange diving at Aliwal Shoal, deep sea fishing and beach horse rides. Rent a bicycle or kayak and burn off some energy.

The lodge itself is even more comfortable now that we have expanded. Blue Sky Mining now has two pools, a big sundeck, a big big garden with awesome sea views and professionally done campsites to make you feel like you're in paradise.

The owner and the staff at this backpacker where very friendly and helping. My friend and I stayed for 4 days there, enjoying the incredible view, the excellent food (yummy curry!) and the nice hostel.
