If Cape Town was a person it would be a classy African mama dressed stylishly in vibrant colours and patterns. And House on the Hill would be where she would stay - a luxurious lodge with rich décor, fitted with every comfort and in the heart of bustling Green Point - just an 8 minute walk to the Waterfront.

The lodge is split over two beautifully restored town houses, right next to each other and each decorated in its own African style. One is a self-catering house and the other is a B&B. Lonely Planet says ‘This self-catering house is a fine alternative to the bigger hostels’. We have squeaky-clean doubles, twins, triples and quads and rates start at R350. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and its own TV, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. Spoil yourself and ask for our luxury rooms.

Our travel desk arranges day trips to the Winelands, Cape Point & townships, overland safaris and activities like sandboarding, white shark diving, tandem skydiving, skydiving courses...

From N1/N2/airport follow signs to Waterfront/Sea Point. Right at 3rd set of lights into Somerset Road. Left after News Cafe (1.5km). Next left into Norman Road. We’re in the cul de sac.
