ANZAC Backpackers is nestled below Table Mountain in downtown Cape Town. Adjoining the lively Stags Head Inn on a heritage property. Our newly renovated spacious and vibrant hostel in Hope Street is within walking distance of Long Street at the heart of the city bowl.Our philosophy is simple, we want you to have fun and still be comfortable (we have some of the best showers in Cape Town).

Everything from the balcony and barbeque area with views of Table Mountain to our massive pool room (with 6 tables) and bars will convince you that we have an awesome party atmosphere.

Chat to our staff about your travel plans – they’re sure to give you some tips. They can also organise wine tours, Cape Point tours, shark cage diving, whale watching, sky diving, pub crawls and more, all at better rates than you can find yourself.

From Cape Town International Airport:
Follow the N2 till De Vaal Drive turn off. Follow De Vaal Drive till you reach the Garden Centre. Right at traffic light into Buitenkant Street, straight down left at traffic light into Roeland Street and left at Cathedral into Hope Street. Approx. 100m up.
