Our Swedish students (29 November - 3 December 2004) commented
as follows:
The programme met each student’s expectation. They
all commented that it is a great programme. It was the best
experience, going behind the scenes and to see how a game
reserve operates. They enjoyed seeing the animals and commented
that it is suitable for anyone who wants to learn the basics
of wildlife, whilst experiencing something different. This
was the highlight of their stay. They feel the programme
was well organized and that Jaco was a great facilitator.
They enjoyed Amakhala, because there was a lot to see and
to do all the time.
The accommodation and facilities offered were great, except
they were not too happy about the animals in the house,
as two out of the four were allergic to cats and this caused
a problem. Food was great. They did not feel that any work
done on the reserve was too demanding.
They would suggest this programme to any age group from
18 – 40.
